Fast 3GHz+ CPUs

High frequency compute is powered by the fastest architecture available in the Vultr product lineup. All plans include 3+ GHz processors designed to power applications that require the fastest possible single-core performance.

NVMe Solid State Local Storage

NVMe increases throughput over traditional SSD's. With local NVMe storage you can get the most out of your high clock speed instances by matching local storage performance with the increased throughput of higher clock speed cores.

Blazing fast benchmarks

Geekbench testing reveals up to a 40% gain per vCPU over our current standard compute plans. CPU processing, memory speed, and storage throughput deliver significant increases across the board.

Instant deployment worldwide

As soon as you click deploy, the Vultr cloud orchestration takes over and spins up your instance in your desired data center.

17 server locations

Cloud compute instances are available in 17 locations worldwide. Deploy servers on 4 continents with just a few clicks!

Infinite OS combinations

Deploy CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Windows, FreeBSD, (and more!) or use our Upload ISO feature.

No long term contracts

With straightforward and affordable pricing, you never have to worry about your monthly bill. Pay only for what you use, and scale up and down on demand.

Deploy anything in seconds

Spin up a new instance with your preferred operating system or pre-installed application in just seconds.

Powerful add-ons

Enhance the capabilities of your cloud servers on demand.

Automatic backups are extremely important for mission critical systems. Enable scheduled backups with just a few clicks from the customer portal. Learn more about automatic backups

A snapshot is a copy of your entire server. Our snapshot system can be used to create copies of existing servers and automate deployments.

Our web-based firewall solution can be enabled on-demand to protect one or more compute instances. Our firewall intercepts traffic before firewall software on your servers. Learn more about our firewall

Cloud applications require flexible networking configurations. Our cloud instances support dynamic changes to IPv4, IPv6, and private networks. Learn more about flexible networking

DDoS protection is essential for maximum uptime and peace of mind. Our DDoS mitigation system offers protection against layer 3 and layer 4 network attacks. Learn more about DDoS protection

How am I billed for my instances?

All servers on your account are billed hourly up to the monthly rate cap. The hourly rate is determined by dividing the monthly rate by 672 hours (28 days). If your server is online for more than 672 hours in a calendar month, you will only be billed the monthly rate. Accumulated charges are invoiced to your account on the 1st of every month.

Do you charge for stopped instances?

Yes, instances in a stopped state continue to reserve dedicated system resources (RAM, SSD storage, IP aliases, CPU) and therefore incur charges until you destroy the instance. If you wish to no longer accumulate charges for a virtual machine, please use the DESTROY button in the customer portal.

What operating system templates do you offer?

Does Vultr collect VAT/Sales tax?

Vultr.com is required to collect tax in several countries around the world. This tax is generally referred to as VAT (Value Added Tax), consumption tax, or sales tax. Prices listed on our website do not include tax. Tax will be added to your invoice as a separate line item.

At what rate is overage bandwidth billed?

Bandwidth utilization in excess of instance allocation is charged at $0.01 per GB in North American and Western European locations. Due to higher regional costs, Singapore and Tokyo (Japan) overage are priced at $0.025 per GB and Sydney (Australia) as well as Seoul (Korea) overages are priced at $0.05 per GB.
